How big are your bubbles?

so last week I was shopping for my oldest son’s birthday, he turned 19, well what do you get a 19 year old these days. Well we went for funny and fun, with a promise of dishes next year, so that he is already to move out :P

While we were shopping I came across the biggest bubble maker that I have ever seen. I kicks butt!! I was outside in the drive way playing with it, all the people that were driving by loved watching the big bubbles and the cats were going crazy.

SO how big are your bubbles? what are some fun things that you used to do as a kid that you loved, or you always wanted to try but have just never gotten around too.

What fun things can you find to do this weekend?? Definitely stop by and tell me all about it!

Optimist Creed

Optimist Creed

by Christian D. Larson, 1912

PROMISE YOURSELF

  • To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
  • To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person
    you meet.
  • To make all your friends feel that there is something in
    them.
  • To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism

    come true.

  • To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and
    to expect only the best.
  • To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as
    you are about your own.
  • To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater

    achievements of the future.

  • To wear a cheerful countenance at all timed and give every
living creature you meet a smile.
  • To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that
you have no time to criticize others.
  • To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong
for rear; and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
  • To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the
world, not in loud words but in great deeds.
  • To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

DESIRE

A great warrior faced a situation which made it necessary
for him to make a decisions which insured his success on the
battlefield. He was about to send his armies against a powerful
foe, whose men outnumbered his own. He loaded his soldiers into
boats, sailed to the enemy’s country, unloaded soldiers and
equipment, then gave the order to burn the ships that had carried
them. Addressing his men before the first battle, he said, “you see
the boats going up in smoke. That means we cannot leave these
shores alive unless we win. We now have no choice- we win- or
we perish.

They won.
Every great leader, from the dawn of civilization down to the
present, was a dreamer.

If you do not see great riches in your imagination, you will never
see them in your bank account.

Tolerance and an open mind are practical necessities of the
dreamer of today. Those who are afraid of new ideas are doomed
before they start.

If the thing you wish to do is right, and you believe in it, go ahead
and do it.

EVERY FAILURE BRINGS WITH IT THE SEED OF AN
EQUIVALENT SUCCESS.
