The 7 simple things that anchor you to the Earth
As I sit in the calm of the evening everyone else has gone to bed for the evening, I think of all the things that I believe anchor me to the earth. Why am I thinking about it, I was reading an article, of course. I read a lot, I would like to have a room full of books, while that is not possible just yet, I do spend most of my day reading in some form or another.
Why is this important well it is how I thought of the topic. I was reading an article in a magazine. The article well on to tell the story of 2 women that had changed both their inner and outer lives with 1 acre of dirt. They made an impact to their own lives as well as everyone in their community just by breaking the ground and planting some pumpkins. The joy and healing they had brought to their lives but completely what looked like an impossible task.It had me thinking that the earth gives us more then we really give her credit for and in most cases more then we really even know. I believe the earth allows us to use her freely with the hopes that we will learn what our true purpose in life really is. To that end, I thought of 7 simple ways we can reconnect to her, through the way we live our lives and the way we walk this earth.
These 7 simple things:
Your Spirit
Your Passions
Your Power
Your Body
Your Sexuality
Your Creativity
Your Children
These things should be the core of our lives, whether we believe it or not. They all impact us greatly. Most cases we choose to ignore certain areas, leaving us unbalanced and afraid of really living our lives. Maybe we grew up in an environment where women were not able or suppose to be strong in these areas. Maybe thinking about them makes us feel uncomfortable, “oh I could never say that or do that”. Ladies these are our strengths and we should use them to teach others on this earth. We have the power to create a new world, a world that is good and right. A world where every woman, daughter, sister, mother has the strength to create her own world on this earth.
